An Active Rain Real Estate Network Group

Here is another reason why I LOVE the Active Rain real Estate Network!

• I had a potential client find me on the WWW through a search on Yahoo for "MLS central Florida"
  where I was in the #1 position.
• They registered an IDX MLS search for homes where thier contact info was captured.
• They then did a search for the type of home they want to buy.
• They are qualified for a $200,000 home purchase.

After they found 5 homes they liked, they gave me a phone call.

• They wrote down all the MLS numbers for the properties they liked so
  I could do all the research needed on the homes.
• Every single home was in Volusia county, a minimum 60 minute one
  way drive from Kissimmee.

What was I going to do?

• I talked to Lisa Hill, an Active Rain member that does business in
  Volusia county in Florida. She could not take the referral.
• I then called Midori Miller, another Active Rain member. She not only took
  the referral but gave me an agent who SPECIALIZES in Deltona, the city
  the clients want to buy property in!

These two ladies are Top Agents in Volusia County:

• Midori Miller is ranked #2 and is a member of the group,"Christianity and Real Estate" here in the Active Rain Real Estate Network.
• Lisa Hill is ranked #3 and is another member in "Christianity and Real Estate".

I know both ladies well as they have posted some really nice blogs in "Christianity and Real Estate". I have also traded comments back and forth with both of them, so I know from the quality of conversations I have had with them that they are highly professional real estate practitioners.

Lisa and I have talked about the Dave Besons letter writing program for drip e-mails and relationship building with past and future clients, plus some other interesting ideas and thoughts.

Midori and I have talked about various issues and I almost attended the
Active Rain Orlando Birthday Bash just because of her; she is awesome!
(I had other more pressing matters to attend to)

I will be letting you all know what happens with the referral I gave to Midoris
agent. He sounds like a real Crackerjack!

• He wrote down all the information I gave him right then and there while
  I was on the phone with him and he said he would get right to the clients
  and get back to me later. I trust there will be nothing except good news
  to report!
• That is a real testament to Midoris training and hiring practices.

So, there you have it; more great things from the Active Rain Real Estate Network!

• You can blog about ANYTHING real estate related.
• Blog once per day or every other day, it does not matter.
• Make your blog relevant, and fresh. People like to see what is going on or what WILL be happening in the area.
• It does NOT take a LONG time to do it; on average it takes about 30 minutes to write a quality post.
• Do a search if you have no idea what to write -  others may have said it, BUT you have a voice of your own... you'll get overlooked if you don't speak up. Put the topic in your own words...plagiarism is a suable offense.....WATCH IT!
• I have many MANY posts about the central Florida real estate market and what is going on in it. You can do posts on YOUR area of expertise too!
